The Texas Faith Network believes that religious convictions about the origin of life are sacred and should be cultivated and strengthened in homes and houses of worship. However, all efforts to insert religious beliefs into science classrooms misunderstand and demean both faith and science.

Clergy to Politicians: 'Respect Our Faith'

To help protect our houses of worship from partisan politics, the Texas Faith Network has launched the Respect Our Faith campaign, a grass-roots movement of clergy and laypeople.

Through a pledge for religious leaders and a pledge for laypeople, the campaign draws a line in the sand of our state's religious community, putting politicians on notice that “Enough is enough!”

What is the Texas Faith Network?

Formed in 1996 as a project of the Texas Freedom Network Education Fund, the Texas Faith Network is a statewide group of more than 600 mainstream religious leaders who share a faith that produces a politics of community and compassion not represented by the religious right.
